Van Dyke in like manner appears in the new frame in a substitute part, as the offspring of the penny-crushing agent Mr Dawes.

Meryl Streep, rejoining with Blunt from The Devil Wears Prada and with the boss Rob Marshall from Into the Woods, plays Poppins' cousin, Topsy; another acting legend, Angela Lansbury, plays the Balloon Lady, anyway neither one of the up in the mystery.
